About Sunny Day Products

The root of Sunny Days Products go back to 1955 when a small family business in southern Manitoba started buying locally grown Sunflower Seeds and processing them for human consumption, much of it being sold to customers in the USA. After a few years a roster was obtained to roast and package this product for the local retail market. This company became known as Reimer Seeds. Later it changed to Sunny Day Products and was incorporated in early 1996.

Sunny Day Products Ltd. continues to process locally grown sunflower seeds, as well as peanuts, pistachios and pumpkin seeds and is in the process of developing other highly nutritious snack foods. These products are marketed under the company's trade name from British Columbia to Ontario, as well as to some customers in the USA. We are planning to expand our markets by working more with major food chains and retailers in Canada and the USA.

Apart from processing and marketing products under our trade name, we also process and package for a few other companies. We have the processing capacity to more than double our current production.
